Curiously Pruess set up with K on the edge (a-file) and Rook next (b-file). Rogelio broke down the opposite formation; Rook on edge and king next to it. In the Pruess set-up I needed a slightly different solution (see above link). These finales are very geometric! I couldn’t break down Pruess – I was pointing to
analysis on Q v R during the Rogelio-Vinay game.
