Dionisio Aldama is Cuban-born but moved to Phoenix, Arizona recently. Aldama moved to the U.S. in 2006 after living in Mexico for many years.  He has been playing in many local Arizona tournaments as well as branching off and playing tournaments throughout Florida as well as California.

He has won many tournaments since moving to the US including winning two Ye Olde Pueblo Opens, the San Diego County Championships, as well as numerous Miami Master tournaments. He has kept a rating around 2500 for a number of years and holds a very aggressive playing style that is intimidating to everyone.
